Recap of the Week

New Year's Day (Thursday) we went hiking at a nearby trail we've never been to.  Since it's been pretty rainy, the stream area was full and the hills were green, so it made for such a pretty hike!

Friday we hung out at home.  I planned on making a piñata, but didn't get to it.  Instead, Allison and I took pictures on the computer (yep!  I am counting a computer photo as one of my pictures), all of which got deleted except about four.  Therefore, this is the picture you're going to see:

Saturday was orchestra and auditions, after which we got Starbucks.  Also, another one of my New Year's resolutions is to make a perfect cappuccino, thus the picture of the not-so-perfect cappuccino...I guess I can look back on that once I'm a professional. ;)

A resolution.

Well, it's that time of year again.  You know, the time when approximately every human being on the face of the planet it making New Year's resolutions--normally ones from the year(s!) before.  One of my resolutions is to take a picture, every day, for a year.  And at the end of the week, I'll post seven (or more...:) pictures, one for each day of the week.  Maybe it won't last, but maybe it will, so I'm going to try it.  So stay tuned!
